Based in Boone, North Carolina Outer Edge Builders is a small residential construction company that was formed in the Spring of 1994 by Johnny Schell and his partner Danny Golini. They began the company not really knowing what they would become. For the first few years, they were more lawn maintenance/landscape oriented in the warm months and did whatever odd jobs they could find in the winter. Over time, the odd jobs became more and more involved with building and began to take more of their time. In 2001, Johnny and Danny got their N.C. Contractors License for Residential Construction. They built a small, cozy cabin in the Valle Crucis area, sold it, and before they knew it, they were becoming a construction company instead of a landscaping company. Several years ago, they went to full time construction and have never looked back.
